To foster enterprise growth, the company established a collaborative program named Frontier Alliances, partnering with leading consulting firms Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Capgemini, and McKinsey & Co.
In an effort to expand its presence within the enterprise sector, OpenAI revealed on Monday that it has forged partnerships with a number of prominent consulting organizations.
This new partner program, known as Frontier Alliances, will see collaborations with Accenture, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Capgemini, and McKinsey & Co. These long-term alliances are designed to “assist clients in strategizing, system integration, workflow optimization, and global deployment at scale,” as detailed by the company in a recent blog post.
These collaborating firms are anticipated to collaborate closely with OpenAI’s on-site engineers to embed AI agents into clients’ existing infrastructures. This strategic initiative aims to facilitate the broader introduction of OpenAI’s Frontier product, which was launched last month. Frontier functions as an orchestration layer, linking diverse AI agents from various providers with a customer’s proprietary business data and applications.
“While Frontier establishes the core technical framework,” OpenAI stated, “achieving significant AI impact necessitates leadership consensus, revised workflows, seamless integration across data and systems, and effective change management to ensure widespread adoption.”
OpenAI indicated that McKinsey and BCG are tasked with “supporting clients in implementing AI throughout their enterprises—crafting the necessary strategy, operational framework, and change management blueprint for enduring success.” Concurrently, Accenture and Capgemini will offer strategic guidance to customers and “facilitate the integration of Frontier with the operational systems and data used by businesses.”
Currently, Frontier is accessible to a select group of clients, with OpenAI projecting broader availability within the “upcoming months.”
